Transfer of course is defined as the student transferring to different course within Malvern International Academy.
Request for transfer of course must be made in writing. A written notice of transfer of course (via Transfer I Withdrawal Form) must be delivered to the dedicated Programme Manager.
Malvern International Academy shall within 3 working days of receipt of the Transfer I Withdrawal Form, arrange a counselling session with the Academic Head, unless deemed not applicable by the Academy.
For students under 18 years of age, Malvern International Academy will seek parental I guardian approval prior to processing the request for transfer of course.
Students must clear any outstanding fees payable to Malvern International Academy before the transfer of course will be processed.
Upon completion of counselling and obtaining parental I guardian approval (where applicable), the Academy will assess the request and the Academic Head will advise the student on the final outcome within a reasonable time frame (not more than 4 weeks)
Applications for transfer of course within the Academy are granted on a case-by-case basis subject to the student meeting the admissions requirement of the new programme and approval from the University Education Partners such as Pearson for the BTEC programs and/or University for Degree programs where applicable.
For international students, transfer of course is subject to approval by ICA. Students are to note that should the application be rejected for whatever reasons, students may not be able to continue their studies in Singapore.
