Withdrawal Policy

  • Withdrawal is defined as the student contract being terminated, and the student is no longer a student of the Academy. Transferring to another institution is also deemed as a withdrawal from Malvern International Academy.
  • Request for programme withdrawal must be made in writing. A written notice of withdrawal from the programme (via Transfer I Withdrawal Form) must be delivered to the dedicated Programme Manager.
  • Malvern International Academy shall within 3 working days of receipt of the Transfer I Withdrawal Form, arrange a counselling session with the dedicated Programme Manager, unless deemed not applicable by the Academy.
  • For students under 18 years of age, Malvern International Academy will seek parental I guardian approval prior to processing the request for withdrawal.
  • Students must clear any outstanding fees payable to the Academy before the Withdrawal Form will be processed.
  • Upon completion of counselling and obtaining parental I guardian approval (where applicable), Malvern International Academy will assess the request and the dedicated Programme Manager will advise the student on the final outcome within a reasonable time frame (not more than 4 weeks).
  • Refunds (if any) will be processed within 7 working days from the student’s request for withdrawal (excludes time taken for postal services or external processing by banks). Students will be informed once the cheque is ready for collection.
  • For international students, transferring to another institution is subject to approval by ICA. Students are to note that should the application be rejected for whatever reasons, students may not be able to continue their studies in Singapore.
